20+ Easy Peach Desserts With Fresh Peaches

Okay so fresh peaches are everywhere right now and I cannot stop buying them.

I swear every time I run to the store for milk, I come home with another basket!

Usually I’ll buy them as snacks, but sometimes I’ll grab them just to bake with.

There’s nothing wrong with baking with canned peaches, but there’s something about fresh that makes the yummiest desserts.

And I’m talking easy desserts, nothing that’s going to take half a day.

Just a few ingredients, some fresh peaches, and you’ve got something sweet ready for an after dinner treat!

1. Peach Cobbler

Peach cobbler is a favorite in our home!

Slice up about six fresh peaches, toss them with a little sugar and cinnamon, and spread them in the bottom of a buttered baking dish.

Whisk together some flour, sugar, baking powder, and milk until you’ve got a smooth batter, then pour it right over the peaches.

Don’t stir! Just let it spread on its own.

I like to sprinkle a little extra sugar on top so the crust bakes up golden and crisp.

Pop it in the oven until the top is puffed and browned.

2. Peach Fritters

Chop your peaches into small chunks and pat them dry so the batter sticks better.

Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt, then stir in milk and an egg until just combined.

Fold in the peaches gently so they don’t get mushy.

Drop spoonfuls into hot oil and fry until golden on both sides.

Dust them with powdered sugar while they’re still warm.

3. Peach Crisp

Layer sliced peaches in a baking dish and drizzle with a little honey or maple syrup.

In another bowl, mix oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly.

Sprinkle the topping generously over the peaches.

Bake until the topping is crisp and the fruit is bubbling at the edges.

If you can, serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

4. Upside Down Peach Cake

Melt butter and brown sugar together in a skillet or cake pan, then arrange peach slices over the sugary layer.

Whip up a simple vanilla cake batter and pour it gently over the peaches.

Bake until the cake springs back when touched.

Let it rest for a few minutes before flipping it out so the peaches stay in place.

5. Peach Crumble Bars

Make a shortbread base by mixing flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly, then pressing most of it into a lined baking pan.

Spread a layer of sliced peaches over the crust.

Mix the peaches with a little cornstarch so the juice thickens while baking.

Sprinkle the rest of the crumble mixture on top and bake until golden.

Cool before cutting into squares.

6. Peach Delight

Start with a graham cracker crust (just crushed crackers mixed with melted butter and pressed into a dish).

Whip cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth, then spread it over the crust.

Top with a layer of sliced peaches, then a layer of whipped topping.

I sometimes add a sprinkle of crushed pecans for texture before chilling it in the fridge.

7. Peach Crumb Cake

This one has a soft cake base with juicy peaches in the middle and a crumbly topping that’s so good with coffee!

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt, then stir in eggs, milk, and melted butter for a thick batter.

Spread half the batter into a greased pan, layer with fresh peach slices, and then cover with the rest of the batter.

In another bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter for the crumb topping.

Scatter it generously over the cake and bake until a toothpick comes out clean.

8. Cinnamon Peach Bread

Peel and dice a couple of peaches, then pat them dry.

Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in one bowl, and eggs, milk, and oil in another.

Combine them, folding in the peaches just until blended. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake until the top is set and golden.

I like to brush the warm loaf with a little melted butter and cinnamon sugar (total heaven!).

9. Peaches and Cream

Slice the peaches and let them sit for a few minutes with a sprinkle of sugar so they get extra juicy.

Whip heavy cream with a bit of powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.

Spoon the cream over the peaches in bowls or cups.

You can add crushed cookies or granola for some crunch.

10. Peach Scones

Cut cold butter into flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until the mix looks crumbly.

Stir in chopped peaches, then add just enough cream to bring the dough together.

Pat it into a circle, cut into wedges, and place on a baking sheet. B

ake until the tops are lightly golden, and glaze with powdered sugar and milk while still warm.

11. Peach Cobbler Coffee Cake

Mix up a basic coffee cake batter with flour, sugar, baking powder, eggs, milk, and melted butter.

Spread half into a greased pan, then layer on fresh peach slices.

Top with a crumb mixture of brown sugar, flour, and butter, then bake until the topping is crisp.

Drizzle a simple powdered sugar glaze once it cools.

12. Peach Cheesecake Cups

I love making a few of these and leaving them in the fridge for the kids to grab!

Crush graham crackers and spoon them into small jars or cups for the base.

Spoon the mixture over the crust layer, then top with diced peaches tossed in a little honey.

Chill until set and serve straight from the cups.

Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, then beat in eggs one at a time.

Mix in flour, baking powder, and milk until smooth.

Pour into a greased bundt pan and bake until a tester comes out clean.

I brush the warm cake with a peach glaze made from jam and water.

15. Peach Cruffins

What is a cruffin you ask?

It’s what happens when you put together croissants and muffins!

To make them, roll out crescent roll or puff pastry dough, spread with a thin layer of peach jam, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Roll it up, slice into strips, and twist each strip before coiling into muffin tins.

Bake until puffed and golden.

Dust with some powdered sugar while it’s still warm for a sweet topping.

These peach blondies have a chewy, buttery texture with little bursts of peach in every bite.

Melt butter and mix it with brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.

Stir in flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt, then fold in chopped peaches.

Spread the batter into a greased baking pan and bake until the edges are set and slightly golden.

These smell amazing while baking and they’re great for breakfasts or afternoon snacks!

Roll out puff pastry and cut it into squares.

Bake until flaky and golden, then brush with a simple glaze while still warm.

Spread softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and diced peaches over rolled-out dough.

Roll it up, slice into even pieces, and place in a greased baking dish.

Bake up some sweet biscuits or shortcakes and let them cool slightly.

Slice fresh peaches and toss them with a little sugar so they get juicy.

I like to let the juices soak into the biscuit a bit before serving.

22. Peach Clafouti

This fresh peach dessert sounds fancy but you’ll be surprised how easy it is to make!

Whisk together eggs, sugar, milk, flour, and a splash of vanilla until smooth, then pour over the peaches.

Bake until the custard is puffed and set.

Dust with powdered sugar right before serving.
