Homemade Chicken Pot Pie Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or chopped
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables frozen or fresh
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can 16 oz refrigerated biscuit dough or 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine chicken, vegetables, soup, milk, cheese, and seasonings.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Cut biscuits or puff pastry into pieces and arrange on top of the filling.
  • Brush the top with melted butter.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is bubbly.
  • Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
