Comments on Easy Homemade Fudge

This homemade fudge takes minutes to make and will definitely satisfy your chocolate cravings!

This is my go-to for snacks, lunchboxes, bake sales, you name it.

You know those days when you just need a chocolate fix, like, right now?

That’s me basically every week!

So I started making this easy fudge and honestly, its changed my snack game.

You don’t need a candy thermometer or any fancy steps, just a few things from the pantry and a little bit of patience while it chills.

The girls ask for it all the time and I don’t mind sneaking a square or two myself.

If you’ve never made homemade fudge, this is the place to start.

Ingredients For Homemade Fudge

  • Chocolate chips: Use whatever you’ve got, milk or semi sweet, it all melts into the tastiest base.
  • Sweetened condensed milk: This makes the fudge thick and creamy without a bunch of extra steps.
  • Butter: Helps everything melt smooth and gives the fudge that soft melt in your mouth feel.
  • Vanilla: Adds a warm little boost of flavor.
  • Salt: Just a tiny pinch brings out the chocolate flavor like magic.

How to Make Homemade Fudge

1. Melt Everything

Add the chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter to a small pot and warm it on low.

Keep stirring so nothing sticks or burns, it gets glossy pretty fast.

2. Add the Flavor

Take it off the heat and mix in the vanilla and salt.

It looks simple but you’ll taste the difference once it sets.

3. Pour and Smooth

Spread the mixture into a parchment lined pan and press it into the corners.

It settles quick, so smooth the top while it’s still warm.

Hold the pan and tap it on the counter to get rid of air bubbles.

4. Chill

Pop it in the fridge and let it sit until firm.

The longer it chills, the cleaner the cuts will be.

Slice with a warmed knife for cleaner squares.

Little Squares Of Chocolate Happiness!

This fudge is one of those things I toss together when I want something sweet but don’t feel like doing a whole production in the kitchen.

It sets up quick, the kids love it, and it keeps really well in the fridge for those late night cravings.

Make a batch once and you’ll see why it’s the treat I keep coming back to!
